COUPLES & TANDEM YOGA

This workshop gives you the opportunity to have fun with a friend or significant other. You do not have to be in a relationship to participate. In practicing tandem stretches we are able to extend further than usual. Meditations will allow you to reach deep inside and give focus to compassion and self-love.

VALENTINE’S DAY COUPLES MASSAGE & YOGA

Celebrate love in all of its forms. Bring a partner to learn new techniques for Thai massage. Light refreshments, including wine & chocolates will be served.

We will learn about body mechanics and how to use your weight effectively as you and a partner take turns giving and receiving basic massage techniques. This inter-connective, compassionate practice can radically alter body awareness and create a sublime sense of being in harmony with everything.

During this workshop Donna Dovie will guide you to give and receive a full body “toe to head” massage with classic techniques of palming, stepping, rocking, stretching and twisting.

Reiki is a spiritual healing practice that is often used to ease pain, anxiety and fatigue. The Reiki practitioner will transmit energy into your body to cleanse and refresh areas that are out of balance. Join Donavin in this beautifully therapeutic workshop as he assists you back to a natural balanced state.

Join us for our St. Patrick’s Day celebration yogi style! During this workshop, Colleen will lead you through a yoga practice & meditation to Celtic music. After the practice, we will enjoy fresh vegan Irish soda bread with beverages (alcoholic and nonalcoholic options).

AROMA THERAPY WORKSHOP

Our sense of smell is extremely important. It can tell us a lot about our surroundings and is the number one trigger for bringing us back to a memory. During this workshop, we will use essential oil extracts from specific plants to stimulate our nervous system and our limbic system. These oils will promote a positive mood, improved sleep, pain management, and reduce stress.

HIP OPENING & JOURNALING

Our bodies build tension in the hips, naturally, just by sitting so much throughout the day or due to pent up emotions that were never resolved. This stress on our hips can even cause the muscles to pull on our lower backs.

In this workshop, we will guide you through a yoga practice that will open up the hip area and release any stagnant tightness. Throughout the practice, you will be guided through journaling exercises to further let go of these feelings as they arise!

YOGA RETREAT – MARSALA, ITALY

SALINARA INTERNATIONAL ART FARM

This distraction-free retreat will help shift your goals into mindful habits. We will be staying in a pristinely maintained 17th century villa, practicing yoga + meditation daily. Divine meals and excursions will touch your soul and reinforce the concept that life should be enjoyed to the fullest.

You will stay in authentically decorated bedrooms in a complex of this charming Sicilian villa. All rooms have been restored with local/natural materials, and are furnished in traditional Sicilian country style, with items that show respect for its history and background.

Retreat package includes: Accommodation in a single, double or triple arrangement. Coffee, tea & fruit before morning yoga. Vegetarian brunch & dinners (non-vegetarian options available). Water, tea, coffee, juices, herbal tea & snacks. You can bring wine or purchase locally if you’d like to. Cooking lesson with our chef (1). Use of yoga mat, blocks, straps & blankets. Morning meditation classes (6). Morning yoga classes (6). Morning healing ceremonies — Earth, Water & Fire (3). Bicycles available for exploration. Transportation to Erice, Marsala & Scopello. Excursion to an award winning Olive Oil farm, which includes transportation, food tasting and lunch paired with olive oil and wine. Pick-up at Trapani OR Palermo airport, upon arrival, between 1PM and 5PM. *We will organize precise pick-up times to fit in with flight arrivals times. Transfer to Trapani OR Palermo airport on final day after breakfast (~10AM).

Airfare, personal expenses/incidentals and lunch/snacks during excursions (except Olive Oil farm trip) are not included. Transfers to/from airports other than Trapani/Palermo, during designated times, are not included. While recommendations for additional excursions/activities will be available,  participation is not included.

A $500 deposit will be required to reserve your space (refundable until 12.23) — Second payment will be due by 12.23 — Final balance due by 3.23 — *Only 50% of total balance paid will be refunded if cancellation occurs prior to 3.23.
